Origin and social mission

In September 2001, on the initiative of Hilde Walraevens, the Royal Athenium Zaventem in Belgium launched a fundraiser to cover the school fees of former child soldiers. In July 2002, a group of 10 volunteers flew to Nkozi in southern Uganda to build a school for orphans. The goal of this NGO is to build a sustainable school in the belief that “education is the key to success”.
